No matter the diameter, we can help you find what you need. If you are working with stainless steel or aluminum drive rivets, Bay Supply has the right rivet for you.

The Drive Rivet Advantage

While there are many advantages of hammer drive rivets, the first and foremost is speed. Quick installation of our blind rivets makes them suitable for a broad range of applications. Drive rivets are used in almost every industrial application from aeronautics to heavy-duty construction. They make for quick and easy repairs on job sites but are strong enough to be used in railroad construction and bridges. Aluminum drive rivets are durable yet lightweight solutions offering excellent corrosion resistance for metal applications. Likewise, nylon drive rivets are used frequently when working with softer materials, such as fiberglass, plastic and vinyl. For ease of use and installation, it's hard to beat all the advantages that drive rivets have to offer.

How Do I Know Which Drive Rivet Is Right For Me?

The good news is that Bay Supply can help you find the right rivet for your application. Hammer drive rivets come in several different configurations depending on your needs:

  • Universal Drive Rivet: The standard-bearer for drive rivets. Aluminum is one of the more common types due to its durability and malleability, making it easier to use while providing a long-lasting solution. A central mandrel is driven into the rivet, causing the inserted end to expand. This in turn provides the clamping force that pulls the rivet flush with the material it is fastening.
  • Countersunk Drive Rivet: These rivets come with a flat head and are used in holes that have been countersunk. These drive rivets are flush with the surface after they are set. Countersunk rivets are ideal when you need smooth surfaces.
  • Brazier Drive Rivet (or Brazier-Head Rivet): A hammer drive rivet with a wide, shallow head shaped similarly to a button. While these rivets have a lower profile than universal drive rivets, they cover a wider surface area that may be limiting in certain applications.

Regardless of your application, Bay Supply can offer professional guidance for your project. Our years of industry experience can give you insight into which fastener is the right fit for your job.
