RoHS Additional Directive



The information does not purport to address all Directive requirements and should only be used as a preliminary guide. It is recommended that the Directives pertaining to your product be read in their entirety, along with all pertinent subsequent Commission Decisions.

“Electrical and electronic equipment” is defined as equipment that is dependent on electric currents or electromagnetic fields in order to work properly and equipment for the generation, transfer and measurement of such currents and fields falling under the categories set out in Annex IA to Directive 2002/96/EC and designed for use with a voltage rating not exceeding 1000 volts for alternating current and 1500 volts for direct current.
