The Pre-Bulbed Slotted Body Threaded Insert is designed for use in plastics and thin gauge sheet metal applications where increased pull-out resistance is required. It features a very wide grip range and with its four high load bearing legs, this fastener is excellent for use in plastics or thin sheet metals.

Slotted body threaded inserts feature a pre-bulbed slotted body design that when installed, folds into four segments that grip the back side of the parent material. This design feature allows the Insert to be installed into single, variable or multiple thickness materials.
